There are reports that Mrs. Margaret Emefiele, wife of Central Bank of Nigeria’s Governor, Godwin Emefiele, was on Thursday kidnapped by a group of heavily armed men along the Benin-Agbor Road.
The kidnappers are believed to have made contact with their victim’s husband, demanding a huge sum in ransom.
The incidence occurred while her husband the CBN Governor was in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital for the annual CBN sponsored annual workshop for business editors and correspondents, which ended Friday evening.
